Krystle D’Souza says she and Karan Tacker mutually decided to not label their relationship, reveals they aren’t friends anymore
Krystle D'Souza recently addressed the burning question of whether she and Karan Tacker had ever been romantically involved and explained why they no longer stay in touch.

Once one of Hindi television’s most beloved couples, both on and off the screen, Krystle D’Souza and Karan Tacker stole many hearts with their undeniable chemistry, charm and their bond as very close friends. Even when rumors were rife that they were in a relationship and planning to take things to the next level, the Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai actors never commented on it. However, after one point, it was no longer a topic of discussion, and the two were not spotted together anymore.
Recently, Krystle addressed the burning question of whether they had ever been romantically involved and explained why they no longer stay in touch. During a conversation with Siddharth Kannan, she admitted that she wasn’t sure how to define their bond since they never labelled it. “I honestly don’t know. Yes, we did share a relationship of being co-stars and best of friends. We were two people dependent on each other for so many things. But was it a relationship in terms of how the world defines it? I don’t know. So, yes and no.”
Nevertheless, she heaped praise on Karan, describing him as an “amazing human being.” Stating that he will always remain dear to her, Krystle mentioned that she has had very good memories with Karan that she wishes to cherish and carry forward. “He is an amazing co-star and an amazing human being. He loves and cares for his family a lot and it’s very endearing to see that,” she added.
“A relationship is between two persons and if those two decide not to give their relationship a name, what will you call it? I don’t believe in these labels. When two people have decided that they don’t want to reveal to the world what’s happening between them, how can we label such relationships? This is the thing: I can’t put a label on something that we (the two involved in the relationship) didn’t give one in the first place” she added. The actor, however, did not blame him or take the blame on herself for the situation, stating that the decision was made jointly.

When the interviewer asked if they were still in touch with each other, Krystle said they are no longer friends. “Unfortunately, life moves on and people go their separate ways. I don’t miss anything because that void gets filled someway or the other. But yes, I cherish the moments we have had together. I love living in the present.” Besides Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, the two also worked together on shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 7 and The Voice.
