Amitabh Bachchan-hosted Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 is currently featuring a special kids’ edition, showcasing bright young contestants who often impress audiences with their wit and charm. However, a recent episode caught attention for a different reason, a young participant, whose overconfident attitude and responses that were seen as slightly rude towards Big B went viral. The child eventually walked away without any prize money, and the clip has since gone viral on social media.
A video has gone viral on social media in which the child is seen talking rudely to Amitabh ever since he came on the hot seat. The kid, named Ishit Bhatt, is from Gandhinagar, Gujarat, and a student of fifth standard.
At the start of the game, when Amitabh Bachchan began explaining the game’s rules, Ishit interrupted and said in Hindi, “Mere ko rules pata hai isliye aap mereko abhi rules samjhane mat baithna (I already know the rules, so you don’t need to explain them to me).”
Later, during the quiz, he insisted on locking his answer even before hearing all the options.
But when a difficult question, related to Ramayana was asked, Ishit waited for options, and then told Big B, “Arre option daalo (Give me the options).” Later, when he gave the answer, he shouted, “Sir ek kya uss mein chaar lock lagado, lekin lock karo (Sir, put not just one but four locks on it, but lock it.).”
After Ishit fails to answer the question, Big B said, “Kabhi kabhi bachhe overconfidence mein galti kar dete hai (Sometimes children make mistakes due to overconfidence).”
Unfortunately, he left the show without winning any prize money.

The viral video is getting a lot of reactions online. Many viewers criticized the boy’s tone.
Another commented that intelligence is good, but respect and good manners are equally important — especially toward elders like Amitabh Bachchan.
However, many others said that it was just a child and may have been overwhelmed by the situation.
Amitabh Bachchan-hosted show Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 is also in the news for its declining TRP ratings.
