(Photos: Instant Bollywood/ Instagram) Comedy king Kapil Sharma was spotted at the Mumbai International Airport on Tuesday evening, as he headed to the US for The Kapil Sharma Tour. During this time, The Kapil Sharma Show will go off the air for a few months.
Videos of Kapil arriving at the airport have surfaced on social media. In one of the videos, he is seen stepping out of his car and as the paparazzi greet him. After that, a fan is seen trying to click a selfie with him, and Kapil obliges him, however, Kapil then says, “Camera tumhara chal nahi raha… (your camera is not working),” and then walks off. Netizens have been reacting to Kapil’s reaction to the fan’s phone camera not working. While some have said that he was joking, others are wondering why he didn’t wait a second.

Fans took to the comments section of the video, and wrote, “Toh 1 min ruk jate uska camera chalne Tak.. fans se hi ho ap Jo b ho aj (You could have just waited for a minute until his camera started, you are what you are because of your fans).” Another person wrote, “Their comedy is not complete without making fun of someone…” Yet another fan wrote, “Comedy hai, dil pe mat lijiye (It’s just comic banter, don’t take it seriously).” Another person pointed out that the fan in question also laughed, so people shouldn’t be offended on their behalf.
We at indianexpress.com had earlier reported that The Kapil Sharma Show will go off air in July, after wrapping up the last two episodes of this season — one with Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel for Gadar 2 and another with Anil Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sobhita Dhulipala for The Night Manager 2.
Starting July 8, Kapil and his team will be traveling across America for a series of live shows, the tickets for which are already said to be sold-out. After Kapil returns from his US tour, he will be seen sharing the screen with Kareena Kapoor, Tabu and Kriti Sanon in The Crew, directed by filmmaker Rajesh Krishnan.
