David Schwimmer to star in sitcom ‘Irreversible’

‘Friends’ star David Schwimmer is is set to take the lead role in ABC sitcom ‘Irreversible’.
The 47-year-old actor, who played Ross Geller of NBC’s ‘Friends’, will be taking on the role of a pessimistic writer in the sitcom, reported Ace Showbiz. Schwimmer has also been set as the executive producer of the show.
The sitcom is based upon hit Israeli series ‘Bilti Hafich’.
Segahl Avin, who created the original version, will write the script and may direct the pilot. He will also serve as executive producer along with Peter Tolan.
