Bigg Boss 19: Salman Khan says ‘violence is not cool’ as he schools Ashnoor Kaur for hitting Tanya Mittal
Bigg Boss 19 is just two weeks away from its finale with the house currently being home to eight contestants including Ashnoor Kaur, Tanya Mittal and Gaurav Khanna, among others.

(Photo: Colors TV)If anyone dominated the headlines during Bigg Boss 19, it was Ashnoor Kaur and Tanya Mittal—sometimes for their strong personalities and other times for their frequent clashes. Earlier, Tanya Mittal faced backlash for allegedly body-shaming 21-year-old Ashnoor Kaur. Now, the tables have turned, and Ashnoor is under fire for reportedly hitting Tanya with a wooden plank. Speculation is rife that Ashnoor may be eliminated from the Bigg Boss house.
The rumours intensified after the makers released a promo for this week’s Weekend Ka Vaar. In the clip, host Salman Khan can be seen addressing the incident and accusing Ashnoor of intentionally attempting to hit Tanya. “Violence in the Bigg Boss house is not cool,” said Salman Khan.

When Ashnoor apologised, Salman added: “Her aggression was so much that she intentionally threw the wooden plank towards Tanya with full force.” Despite Ashnoor repeatedly calling it “accidental,” Salman countered: “It was very obvious that it was intentional and in anger.”
When Ashnoor insisted Tanya got hit “by mistake,” Salman retorted: “Lag gayi lag gayi kya? You took the plank like this and threw it at her!” Although he didn’t explicitly confirm her eviction, he reminded the housemates: “There are certain rules in this house which we need to follow.”
What happened earlier?
A few days prior, during the Ticket to Finale task, Ashnoor was attempting a challenge that required her to balance a wooden plank across her shoulders with two water-filled bowls hanging from each end. While she was performing the task, Tanya intervened and emptied the bowls to prevent Ashnoor from winning. Enraged, Ashnoor threw the wooden plank, which ended up hitting Tanya on the shoulder.

Another contestant out?
Apart from Ashnoor Kaur, Shehnaaz Gill’s brother Shehbaz Badesha might also get eliminated. Shehbaz, who entered as a wild card contestant, is said to be skipping the media round, further hinting at his exit.
With these two potential evictions, the remaining housemates will be Gaurav Khanna, Amaal Malik, Pranit More, Farhana Bhatt, Tanya Mittal, and Malti Chahar. The finale is just a week away.
Current standings
As per ongoing trends, Amaal Malik and Farhana Bhatt are holding strong positions, closely trailing behind fan-favourite Gaurav Khanna, who has gained widespread appreciation. Salman Khan also praised Gaurav’s gameplay after several contestants accused him of having a “dual personality” and “playing safe” by maintaining friendships across the house. Meanwhile, Tanya Mittal and Pranit More continue to receive mixed reactions, placing them in the middle of the leaderboard.
