Mannara Chopra lost the Bigg Boss 17 trophy to Munawar Faruqui but during her journey her cousin and actor Priyanka Chopra twice shared her support via social media. Mannara shared that she is extremely happy to receive Priyanka’s support. When asked if she had spoken to Priyanka before entering the BB House, Mannara shared with News18, "No, we didn’t really speak with each other. I was in the US for a shoot, and after returning to India, I immediately landed in the Bigg Boss house." Bigg Boss 17's 2nd runner-up added, "As soon as I sit in the car, I will message her. And if she’s free, I’ll talk to her, and I will thank her."

Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui's former girlfriend Ayesha Khan was asked about his win, to which she said, “It’s okay if anyone wins as it’s the audience vote and love, I have nothing to say”. She, however, said she expected Abhishek Kumar to win. "I feel bad that Abhishek didn’t win the show as he deserved it but then what can one do and I was shocked with Ankita’s eviction as I also thought she would be in the top three finalist list,” she said.

Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui has responded if his win was fixed, as many are claiming on social media. "Main nahi janta (I don't know). I always thought I had a 50-50 chance as Abhishek equally deserved this win. This tag only sounds very fixed. I know I made some mistakes and I had to bear the brunt of the same. I was also judged for it. However, in the real world, I have done some good deeds, and because of this, I have gained love from fans," he told India Today.
