Sivakarthikeyan and Kamal Haasan join hands for SK21

Kamal Haasan takes pride in spending everything he earns from cinema back on it. Ever since the success of Vikram, which earned more than Rs 300 crore, the actor has been focusing a lot more on producing films. Earlier, he announced a project with Silambarasan, which is tentatively titled STR48. Now, the actor’s Raaj Kamal Films International will bankroll Sivakarthikeyan’s 21st project tentatively titled SK21.

The film was launched at RKFI’s office in the presence of the whole crew and Haasan. This marks Haasan’s first collaboration with Siva, which will be directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, who made his debut with Rangoon. Sai Pallavi, who was last seen in Gargi, is teaming up with Sivakarthikeyan for the first time in the film. GV Prakash has been roped in as the composer for the project. The other cast details of the film are yet to be announced. Along with RKFI, Sony Pictures Films India will be co-producing the movie.

Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan is on a break from the shoot of Indian 2. Director Shankar and the whole crew wrapped up schedules in Taiwan and South Africa. Now, Shankar is directing his other project with Ram Charan titled Game Changer. After Indian 2, Haasan is teaming up with Mani Ratnam for the film KH234, which has music by AR Rahman. The actor and Pa Ranjith are also teaming up for a project. However, it is unknown when the project will go on floors.
