Ahead Jailer audio launch in Chennai, Rajinikanth has ended his vacation in the Maldives and has returned to the city. Pictures of the Tamil actor were shared by Sri Lankan Airlines on Twitter.

The tweet read, “Superstar onboard! We are extremely thrilled to welcome aboard the legendary @rajinikanth on his trip from #Maldives to #Chennai. Looking forward to be part of your future journeys.” The actor received royal treatment from the staff of the airline.

A few days ago, a photo of Rajinikanth from the Maldives went viral on social media. The superstar was seen standing on the beach, in a relaxed mood. The picture was special because Rajinikanth usually goes to the Himalayas for spiritual retreats and has rarely been seen at popular tourist destinations.

Jailer is the first film of Rajinikanth in 2023. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar of Doctor fame, the film has created good anticipation among fans–thanks to the hit songs Kaavaalaa and Hukum of Anirudh Ravichander. Other than Rajini, the film has Mohanlal, Suni, Shivarajkumar, Jackie Shroff, Vinayakan, Tamannaah, and Ramya Krishnan in important roles.

After Jailer, Rajinikanth is teaming up with director TJ Gnanvel of Jai Bhim fame for an untitled film. For now, the film is referred to as Thalaivar 170. Other details of the film are yet to be made public.
