Actor Rajinikanth, after wrapping up the shoot of his upcoming film Vettaiyan, has started his spiritual journey to the Himalayas. The ‘Superstar’ began his journey from Chennai and has already reached Dehradun. In Chennai, when asked about his journey, he said, “I go there every year. I will visit Kedarnath, Badrinath, and Baba cave. It gives me a new experience every time.”
When asked if PM Modi will emerge victorious in the Lok Sabha elections, the actor replied, “No comments. No political questions, please.” Rajinikanth also refused to answer questions about the ongoing debate in Tamil Nadu on whether lyrics or music is more important for a song.
Rajinikanth was again spotted in Dehradun, where he said, “The whole world needs spirituality, as it’s important for every human being. Being spiritual means experiencing peace and tranquility, and fundamentally, it involves believing in God.”
Recently, Rajinikanth returned from a trip to United Arab Emirates, where he was awarded the Golden Visa. During his trip, Rajinikanth also visited the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi.
Upon returning from the Himalayan trip, Rajinikanth will begin shooting for Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. It was recently confirmed that actor Sathyaraj is part of the film, which will have music by Anirudh Ravichander. The movie, produced by Sun Pictures, marks the 171st film of the ‘Superstar’.
