LGM teaser: MS Dhoni’s debut feature production looks like a fun-filled romantic drama

Harish Kalyan is back with another rom-com and this time he has teamed up with Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni and his wife Sakshi Dhoni for the film titled LGM–short for Let’s Get Married. Other than Harish, the movie has Ivana, Nadhiya, and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles. Ramesh Tamilmani has directed LGM, which is bankrolled by MS Dhoni’s production house Dhoni Entertainment. The film’s story is conceptualised by Sakhi.

The teaser opens up with Ivana suggesting an idea to Harish. Though it is not revealed what her suggestion is, one can gather that she is saying, ‘Let’s get married.’ The idea doesn’t seem to sit well with his friends, who warn him of taking the big step. We also get a glimpse of Nadhiya as Harish’s mom. Guess, the film will have a simple yet fun-filled story about the struggles the couple face in getting hitched.

Earlier, talking about LGM, Sakshi Dhoni had said, “We look forward to being here and doing more such meaningful stories. We are excited to start this fascinating journey today. I assure you that this fun-filled film will be one that the entire family can enjoy.”

MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings recently won IPL 2023, which has made them the second team to win five IPL tournaments (Mumbai Indians is the other team). Amidst speculations about his retirement, Dhoni said that he might come back for one more season as a tribute to his fans. However, he also noted it depends on his health as well. The iconic cricketer also went through a keyhole surgery on the knee and is fast recovering.
