Internet has found ‘varisu’ to Vijay, Rashmika; kid sets social media afire by effortlessly grooving to Ranjithame
With over 95 million views on YouTube, Ranjithame is one of the most popular film songs of this year. A fusion of modern beats and Tamil folk music, Ranjithame was sung by Vijay and MM Manasi

If there’s something even more enjoyable than witnessing our beloved stars lighting up the dance floor, it’s seeing children excel at the steps and bravely competing with their silver screen counterparts.
However, what if the song featured the incredible Vijay and the astonishing Rashmika Mandanna? Would it be easy for a child to learn the dance steps and become a “varisu” to this dynamic duo? Well, it appears that one child has effortlessly mastered the dance moves and left Rashmika herself impressed.
In a video lasting 57 seconds, seemingly recorded at a wedding venue, a child dressed in a black shirt and denim blue jeans can be seen energetically grooving to the popular hit “Ranjithame” by Thaman S from Vamshi Paidipally’s film Varisu (2023).
Quote-tweeting the video, Rashmika noted, “I love this… I love these videos man! ❤️ makes me so so happy to watch you all enjoy the songs and the danceeee.. 🥳🥰🥰.”

With over 95 million views on YouTube, “Ranjithame” is one of the most popular film songs of this year. A fusion of modern beats and Tamil folk music, “Ranjithame” was sung by Vijay and MM Manasi, while the lyrics for the track were penned by Vivek.
In spite of being a highly anticipated film following the negative response to his previous work, Beast, Varisu had a mediocre performance at the box office owing to the narrative that proved to be tiresome for the audience.
In his review of the film, The Indian Express’ Kirubhakar Purushothaman noted, “Vijay-starrer Varisu turns out exactly the way you want it to be. There’s nothing novel about the plot of the film.”
Starring R Sarathkumar, Jayasudha, Srikanth, Shaam, Prakash Raj, Prabhu, and Yogi Babu, alongside Vijay and Rashmika, the flick was produced jointly by Dil Raju and Sirish under the banners of Sri Venkateswara Creations and PVP Cinema respectively.
