According to trade tracker Sacnilk, Rajinikanth's Coolie earned Rs 25.94 crore by 5 p.m. on Friday, taking its total collection at the Indian box office to Rs 90.94 crore.

Sun Pictures, the production house behind Rajinikanth-starrer Coolie, shared on X, "Superstar Rajinikanth The Record Maker & Record Breaker. #Coolie becomes the Highest ever Day 1 worldwide gross for a Tamil film with 151 Crores+ #Coolie in theatres worldwide."

With this figure, Coolie has surpassed Vijay’s Leo, which earned Rs 148.50 crore on its opening day, to register the highest worldwide opening for a Tamil film.

According to trade tracker Sacnilk, Rajinikanth's Coolie earned Rs 22.33 crore by 4 p.m. on Friday, taking its total collection at the Indian box office to Rs 87.33 crore.

Superstar Rajinikanth's daughter Soundarya Rajnikanth took to X and wrote, "50 years, Appa. According to trade tracker Sacnilk, Rajinikanth's Coolie earned Rs 19.05 crore by 3 p.m. on Friday, taking its total collection at the Indian box office to Rs 84.05 crore.

Actor Rajinikanth has completed 50 years in the film industry today. To mark the milestone, the ‘Superstar’ took to X and shared a heartfelt note, which read: "Happy 79th Independence Day to all of you. My heartfelt thanks go to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin, Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, Leader of the Opposition Edappadi K Palaniswami, BJP leader Nainar Nagendiran, my friend Annamalai, madam Sasikala, Dhinakaran, madam Premalatha and to other friends in politics who complimented me on my 50-year journey in the film industry."

According to trade tracker Sacnilk, Rajinikanth’s Coolie is raking in big numbers at the Indian box office, collecting Rs 44.22 crore as of 6 p.m. on Thursday.

Hours after release, Rajinikanth's film Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, was leaked online on piracy sites like Tamilrockerz and others for free download. As per reports, by afternoon on the day of Coolie's release, both high-quality and low-resolution copies of the film were already flooding illegal sites and Telegram groups.

Box office number tracker site Sacnilk shared that Rajinikanth-starrer Coolie has earned around Rs 14.25 cr till 10 am on it's Day 1. The film is expected to earn over Rs 100 crore on day 1, though Coolie's review so far hve been mixed.
