Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Rana Daggubati arrive in style at IIFA Utsavam. Watch

The who's who of South Indian cinema graced IIFA Utsavam held in Abu Dhabi on Friday.

It’s that time of the year when stars descend in Abu Dhabi. IIFA 2024 began with a bang as the biggest names of South Indian cinema came together under one roof for IIFA Utsavam.

Actor Rana Daggubati was one of the first celebrities to arrive on the green carpet ahead of the grand gala night held at the Etihad Arena.

During the event, Rana said entertainment is now “global” as films don’t have a “language”. The actor added that the gala event will be “all of India in one package”.

Another actor to arrive early on the green carpet was HanuMan star Teja Sajja, who became an overnight sensation with his Sankranti release, directed by Prashanth Varma. The actor wore a beige suit as he walked the carpet in style.

Veteran actor Nassar walked the green carpet in a traditional veshti paired with a black kurta. Nandamuri Balakrishna too arrived in style as he sported a suit and tilak. Chiranjeevi and Jiiva also graced the green carpet in stylish suits.

Other celebrities who graced the event included Keerthy Suresh, Priyamani, Javed Akhtar, Shabana Azmi, Regina Cassandra, Meena, Gulshan Grover, AR Rahman, Brahmanandam, Venkatesh Daggubati and Jayaram, among others.

After the arrival of stars, Tamil hosts Muthukrishnan and Diya Menon kick started IIFA Utsavam 2024. Visuals of Venkatesh, Balakrishna, Brahmanandam and Jayaram enjoying the awards ceremony surfaced online.

Earlier today, a star-studded press conference saw movie stars like Vicky Kaushal, Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Ananya Panday, Teja Sajja, Abhishek Banerjee, and Rana Daggubati, among others in attendance.

After IIFA Utsavam, the IIFA Awards will be held on September 28, which will be hosted by Shah Rukh Khan. Then, on September 29, IIFA Rocks will take place. Rekha, Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Ananya Panday, Janhvi Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal, among others, will perform at the event.
