Amitabh Bachchan reacts to Rajinikanth’s tweet about their long-awaited reunion: ‘Cannot compare myself with you’

Amitabh had previously shared a tweet about their collaboration, and had written, “Back with the great THALAIVAR .. the Leader, the Head, the CHIEF. @rajinikanth on his 170th film. What an honour and a huge privilege after 33 years!! and you haven’t changed a bit. Still the GREATEST.”

Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth have earlier acted in films like Hum, Geraftar, and Andhaa Kanoon. Hum, which was released in 1991, marked their last collaboration. Now, after about three decades, the two are joining hands again for Thalaivar 170. Rajinikanth has already finished multiple shooting schedules in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Now, a new schedule is underway with Big B present.

Amitabh Bachchan plays an important role in Thalaivar 170, which is directed by TJ Gnanavel. Other than the two legends, the film also has Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Dushara Vijayan, Ritika Singh, and Manju Warrier. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music for the film, in his fourth collaboration with Rajini.

Expectations are high from the film, which has united some of the top talents of Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi film industries. Thalaivar 170 will be released in 2024.
