Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth reunite on the sets of Vettaiyan; strike poses in sleek stylish suits. See photos

Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth were captured having a deep conversation on the sets of Vettaiyan.

On Friday, Amitabh Bachchan joined Rajinikanth on the sets of  TJ Gnanavel’s upcoming film Vettaiyan. Pictures from their reunion have surfaced online and fans cannot keep calm. According to reports, the film is presently being shot in Mumbai.

In a photo, the superstars, wearing sleek suits, posed stylishly together. Rajinikanth and Amitabh also hugged each other, and another photo showed them deeply engrossed in discussion. Sharing the pictures, Lyca Productions wrote, “The Titans of Indian Cinema! Superstar @rajinikanth and Shahenshah @SrBachchan grace the sets of Vettaiyan in Mumbai, with their unmatched charisma.”

Reacting to the photos, a fan wrote, “Instead of saying 2 legends it’s sounds better like this. The 2 real Don of Indian cinema.” Another fan commented, “Two living legends.”

Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth will share screen space in Vettaiyan. This isn’t the first time these two have shared the screen. Their collaboration dates back to films like Andhaa Kaanoon (1983), and Geraftaar (1985). Their last film was Hum, which was released in 1991.

Rajinikanth had previously shared an appreciation note for Amitabh. Sharing a picture, he wrote, “After 33 years, I am working again with my mentor, the phenomenon, Shri Amitabh Bachchan in the upcoming Lyca’s “Thalaivar 170″ directed by T.J Gnanavel. My heart is thumping with joy!” 

Vettaiyan also stars Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh, Manju Warrier and Dushara Vijayan in pivotal roles.
