Rhea Kapoor who is very happy that the response to her home production Khoobsurat has been positive with the audience taking a liking to the film will soon start work on her next, Saat Hindustani. The film is likely to take off this month end. “Things have been very hectic because of Khoobsurat. So now I am just working on a schedule and in the next couple of days things should be in place,” said Kapoor who is terribly excited about the project.
Saat Hindustani, on which the young Kapoor has been working for some time now, is about students based abroad and the cast comprises of seven newcomers.
“The story has been conceived by Mehul Suri (he co-wrote Teen Thay Bhai) and friend Nidhi Mehra, and is based on their real life experiences. As for the cast, several new talents will play the youngsters. “Presenting new talent is a very exciting process for me,” Kapoor had said in an earlier interview. Anil Kapoor’s younger daughter had made her debut as producer with the Sonam Kapoor-Abhay Deol starrer Aisha in 2010. Saat Hindustani will be directed by debutant Karan Boolani,who was an associate on Aisha as well as Wake Up Sid. He had also directed the song Sham in Aisha.
