Anupam Kher is seen wearing a number of stone rings on almost all his fingers these days. At the launch of his chat show recently, when he was asked about the reason behind so many finger rings, the actor quickly took out a mala he  wears around his neck and remarked, “People often ask me about these. All these have been given to me by my mom to protect me from any mishaps.” Very much like any protective mother.
