Finding Fanny songs released

At an event held at Novotel Hotel in Juhu, Mumbai, two songs from Homi Adajania-directed Finding Fanny were released, with a live performance by the singers

The lead pair, Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor, compered the event amidst laughter and leg-pulling. Director Adajania was not spared by the duo and neither was producer Dinesh Vijan.
Fanny Re is a quirky song and has been shot also in a “quirky way” according to the team. The trailer of the song followed and much to everyone’s delight, it has been shot quite funnily, with all the actors making hilarious and rib-tickling movements. The song has been canned on Dimple Kapadia, Naseeruddin Shah, Pankaj Kapur, Deepika and Arjun. At the event, Mukhtiyar Ali, who has also penned the lyrics, performed the song live. The second song, Shake your bootiya, was sung by Sachin-Jigar and Divya Kumar as dancers performed to both the songs wearing the mask of the five actors and dressed in their getup from the film.
Mathias Duplessy, a composer and multi-instrumentalist who has earlier worked in Peepli [Live] besides other Indian films, has composed the music for Finding Fanny. Vijay Singh, CEO of Fox Star India was also present at the event.
Finding Fanny is a English film and will be dubbed in Hindi. A comedy, it narrates the story of five oddballs who venture out in search of Stefanie Fernandes (Fanny). The album has been released by Sony Music Entertainment India Pvt. Ltd. Produced by Maddock Films and presented by Fox Star Studios, it releases on September 12.
