FAN to take off this week

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan will start shooting for Maneesh Sharma’s FAN this week. This was confirmed by Rafiq Gangjee, Vice President, Marketing & Communications YRF. The film was supposed to go on the floors in mid 2014, but was pushed a little and will now take off in September. Khan who has one of the biggest fan following across the globe will interestingly play the role of a fan himself! The actor had undergone look tests for the film created by renowned special effects make-up maestro Grag Cannom earlier this year. Cannom who is known to create extraordinary looks for actors has worked in films like The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Mrs. Doubtfire and Dracula. According to Sharma a never-before look for Khan has been attempted. Produced by Aditya Chopra, FAN has been written by Habib Faisal. The film releases worldwide on August 14, 2015.
