After making path-breaking films like Pinjar that won Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi the National Award, the film-maker shall release his next, Zed Plus, a political thriller on November 21. The story is set in a small town of Rajasthan, run by a coalition government. The film charts the struggle of the government to hold on to power in the face of rising rebellion, corruption and communalism and the changes that happen when a common man is given Zed security by the government. Starring Adil Hussain, Mona Singh, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, K.K. Raina, Zed Plus is produced under the banner Mukund Purohit Production Pvt. Ltd and Wisdomtree Productions Pvt. Ltd.
