Malaika Arora Khan performs to the beats of Fashion khatam mujh par

While the nation grooved to her beats when she danced on Munni badnaam, Malaika Arora Khan is back with another item number and this time, she will be seen performing with actor Rajkummar Rao in the film Dolly Ki Doli. The song, Fashion khatam mujh par, was filmed at Mehboob Studio in a village like set-up of a wedding last week. The song was shot over a period of three days.
Talking about the dance number, producer Arbaaz Khan mentioned that he was thrilled to see Rao matching steps with Malaika and that too perfectly. “Perhaps, this is the first time Rajkummar has done a lip sync number. He has done perfect justice to his part of the choreography. Man, Rajkummar Rao can dance, saala. Also, Malaika looks great and the track has turned out very well,” stated Khan.
Khan mentioned that the set up at Mehboob studio resembled that of a rustic small town, where a wedding takes place. That is where Malaika is seen performing. It’s an out and out item number, sung by Sajid and Wajid, who are also the music composers of the film. The beats of the song have a desi and earthy flavour. Malaika is seen wearing a bright orange coloured ghagra – choli with a lot of bling. Choreographed by Remo D’Souza, the song will also feature lead actress of the film, Sonam Kapoor, but she will not be seen dancing. Dolly Ki Doli is slated to release on February 6, 2015.
