Renowned Marathi and Hindi film actor, Sadashiv Amrapukar was admitted to the Dhirubhai Ambani Kokilaben hospital in Mumbai in a critical condition. The 64-year-old actor was suffering from a lung infection and was admitted to the ICU and was kept on life support system. The condition of the actor, while going to press has been reported as stable.
Amrapurkar  made his mark in the industry in the 80s and 90s, essaying a wide variety of roles. He was best known for playing villainous characters, before doing comic roles.

 

Injured

Shah Rukh Khan suffered a minor knee injury during the promotional activities of his upcoming film Happy New Year. The injury resulted in the delay of the Delhi leg of the promotions as the actor made a late entry and was seen limping his way to the press meet that was attended by Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani, Vivaan Shah and director Farah Khan. “It is a minor sprain and I will be all right soon,” said the actor.
