Homi Adajania

Director Homi Adajania lost his sister Zia Adajania Divan on October 25. Ailing from a heart condition she was actually  recuperating after a recent  heart surgery. But that morning, suddenly she  collapsed and was pronounced dead shortly. The director was recently in the news for his film Finding Fanny starring Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Pankaj Kapur, Naseeruddin Shah and Dimple Kapadia.

Cell stolen

Yesteryear director Lekh Tandon’s mobile phone was stolen from a hotel in Thane allegedly by a woman who sweet-talked him to direct her upcoming project. The 85-year old Tandon went to a hotel to meet the woman who was in her 30’s. During the talk, she asked him for his Apple iPhone 5 saying the battery of her phone dead and she wanted to contact someone urgently. The unsuspecting Tandon handed over his phone costing around Rs. 30,000.
