Actor Arjun Bijlani, who has been seen in shows like Miley Jab Hum Tum, Left Right Left and Mohe Rang De is ready to take the big jump. The telly actor has signed a film titled Ho Gaya Direct Ishq that stars Rajneesh Duggal and Nidhi Subbaiah along with him. The film will be directed by Rajiv Ruia of My Friend Ganesha fame.
Arjun says, “Writer A.M Toraz approached me for the character of Kabir. After a few discussions with him, I met Rajiv sir and was selected for the film.”
Arjun’s character is that of a boy-next-door staying in Mumbai. “His family stays in Benaras. When he goes to meet them, he falls in love with a girl. The story shapes up interestingly after that,” he remarks as he says that he isn’t scared about the competition and with the fact that so many TV actors are venturing into films. “I am not insecure. I am a self-made man and believe in quality work. Even on television, I have never worked on many projects because I like to focus on one thing at a time. I want to give 100 per cent to this film. After that I can write my destiny.”
