Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali joined singer Shreya Ghoshal to unveil her first ghazal album, Humnasheen, in the presence of several guests of the music industry last week. Composed by Deepak Pandit, a few songs in the album contain the use of instruments played by Pt. Vishwa Mohan Bhatt and Pt. Ronu Mujumdar. Ghoshal also gave a live performance, along with Pandit, at the event, where she sang a few ghazals from the album. Pt.Jasraj, Salim Merchant, Kailash Kher, Shantanu Moitra, Pankaj Udhas, Talat Aziz and singer Papon were among those who were also present at the do.
Honey Singh not roped in to sing for Roy
There was a strong buzz in the industry that rapper and singer Yo Yo Honey Singh was working on a composition for the production house, T-Series’ upcoming film, Roy. Singh who shares a good rapport with both T-Series and Ranbir Kapoor, there were several reports confirming the news.
But when contacted, Bhushan Kumar stated that none of this is true. “We haven’t planned anything as of yet. Singh has just finished working on Party with the Bhoothnath in Bhoothnath Returns..” Further, Singh took to his twitter account and tweeted to confirm, “YoYo to do a track for Film Roy is incorrect. Kindly support n promote real YoYo News.”
