In order to please his son, Hrithik Roshan, who was shooting in Shimla for Bang Bang, flew down to Mumbai to attend the sports day in his school. The actor, who was supposed to be on time for the first day of the shooting, decided to take a flight to Delhi and then fly to Chandigarh. But unfortunately the fog played havoc, resulting in all flights getting cancelled. Despite the doctor’s warning to avoid travelling long distance by road, Hrithik drove all the way to Chandigarh. He rested for a while and then took the car to Shimla, thus making it on time for his workout and rehearsals.

Monali Thakur, who earned accolades and won several hearts for her song, Sawaar loon, has a new fan and that is none other than the diva herself — Rekha. At an event held recently, Thakur ended up bumping into Rekha, who on spotting the singer couldn’t stop raving about her voice. “I didn’t know how to react. It was extremely sweet of her to come up and tell me that she likes my voice. But the most touching moment for me was the fact that she said — ‘You are brightest star that we have in the industry today. You have an amazing career ahead of you, Monali. I love you.’ I was numb and even today, I keep smiling whenever I think about the compliment,” says Thakur. Can’t blame her for being in seventh heaven, can we?
