Popular comedian Vadivelu, who is busy wrapping up Tamil film “Eli”, has attempted a high-octane action sequence for the movie. The scene was shot at a specially erected set here over a period of eight days.

“This stunt sequence is very unique. Vadivelu sir will not been seen sending people in the air, but he’ll be involved in a fight scene where he’ll escape from their clutches. The stunt choreography will dazzle audiences as well as make them laugh,” the film’s director Yuvaraj told IANS.

“It took us eight days to shoot the scene as it required lot of planning and rehearsing. A lavish set was erected specially to shoot this scene,” he said.

Vadivelu was initially quite hesitant about the idea.

“He felt audiences won’t accept him pulling off stunts. I somehow finally managed to convince him that the fight will resemble Jackie Chan-style histrionics,” he added.

Also starring Sada, the film is said to be the story of a guy with the characteristics of a rat.
