The three-day ceremony promises to be a glitzy affair, celebrating the best of Indian cinema across languages and genres.
Day one of IIFA Awards started off with IIFA Utsavam 2024, a prestigious event honouring the finest talents from the Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada film industries. The night, hosted by actors like Rana Daggubati,Teja Sajja among others, saw some of the biggest names in the industry take home prestigious awards. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan won the Best Actress award for her stunning performance in Ponniyin Selvan: II, while Mani Ratnam bagged the Best Director award for the same film. Other notable winners included Dhanush, who won Best Actor for his role in Vaathi, and Sai Pallavi, who took home the Best Actress award for her performance in Gargi.
