Ajith Kumar’s next yet-untitled Tamil movie will go on the floors in Bulgaria next week.
Actor Ajith Kumar’s next yet-untitled Tamil outing, which will go on the floors in Bulgaria next week, will feature three leading ladies. While Kajal Aggarwal plays one of the leads, the makers are yet to finalise the other two actresses.
“The film features three heroines. Kajal will be seen as the wife of Ajith, who plays a secret agent, and as his working partner, a search is underway for another suitable actress. The third heroine will be seen in a cameo,” a source from the film’s unit told IANS. Akshara Haasan is rumoured to be playing the second heroine.
“The team is in talks with a few actresses; however, they haven’t zeroed in on anyone yet,” the source said. To be helmed by Siva, the film will be predominantly shot abroad including places such as Bulgaria where the makers will shoot the first schedule for 40 days. The film, which will have music by Anirudh Ravichander, is tipped to feature high-octane stunts.
Despite three back-to-back flops this year, Kajal has managed to bag Ajith’s yet-untitled Tamil film and Chiranjeevi’s project. Teaming up with Chiranjeevi for the first time, Kajal will be seen reprising actor Samantha’s role from the original.
Kajal Aggarwal earlier said she is prepared for her Bollywood career to move at a slow pace as she has films to do in other languages as well. Kajal made her full-fledged Bollywood debut with Ajay Devgn-starrer Singham in 2011 and later starred opposite Akshay Kumar in Special 26 (2013). Now three years later, she was seen in her third Hindi release – Do Lafzon Ki Kahani opposite Randeep Hooda. The 30-year-old actress is happy with the way her career in Bollywood is shaping up.
When asked about the long gap and going slow in Bollywood, Kajal told PTI in an interview, “I am trying to strike a balance among all three (Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi) cinemas. It is bound to go slow as I cannot be in all the three industries at the same time.”
“I have been fortunate enough to choose the best of whatever I get in any industry. I have been maintaining a balance between Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films so there is bound to be a gap. I can’t be omnipresent,” she said.
