CAST: John Travolta,Robin Williams rating: **
Charlie (Travolta) and Dan (Williams) have spent 30 years together, from school to a business partnership. During all that time, nothing like family or children has come in the way, since neither has any. Till Dan finds out that he has a set of twins that he has to look after for a fortnight, even as he and Charlie are negotiating the business deal of their lives. While the filmmaker would have us believe that Old Dogs is about two bachelors recognising the need for a family,it really is about the bachelors themselves. Travolta and Williams strike an easy camaraderie that prevents this below-average story from sinking fully. They are two very different, very likeable people, easy to get along with, like most people, neither too egoistic nor too temperamental. And while the two children are remarkably like two children, you dont spend much time looking at them.
