The first trailer for Guillermo del Toro’s ‘Crimson Peak’ has been unveiled. The Tom Hiddleston horror film, which also stars Mia Wasikowska and Charlie Hunnam, follows the story of a young author called Edith Cushing (Wasikowska), reported Variety.

Set in Victorian England, Edith moves in with her new husband (Hiddleston) and his mysterious sister (Jessica Chastain), before discovering that both her husband and new home are hiding secrets.

Burn Gorman, Doug Jones, Leslie Hope and Jim Beaver also star in the ‘Pacific Rim’ director’s latest project. Hiddleston replaced Benedict Cumberbatch in the lead role in 2013, after the ‘Sherlock’ actor dropped out of the film. ‘Crimson Peak’ will release on October 16.
