Transformers Rise of the Beasts trailer: It is Autobots and Maximals vs Unicron

A new trailer of the upcoming movie Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, which is the seventh installment in the popular Transformers film franchise and a standalone sequel to the 2018 movie Bumblebee, was released on Thursday.

In a new twist for the franchise, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will feature the Unicron as the film’s main antagonist. Unicron, who is also known as the Lord of Chaos, is a colossal entity that devours planets and poses a significant threat to the Transformers’ existence. The latest installment in the Transformers franchise will also introduce new characters, including Autobots’ allies Maximals.

The official synopsis of the film reads, “Returning to the action and spectacle that have captured moviegoers around the world, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will take audiences on a ‘90s globetrotting adventure with the Autobots and introduce a whole new faction of Transformers – the Maximals – to join them as allies in the existing battle for earth.”

Directed by Steven Caple Jr, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts stars Anthony Ramos, Dominique Fishback, Luna Lauren Velez and Tobe Nwigwe. Ron Perlman, Peter Dinklage, Michelle Yeoh, Pete Davidson, Liza Koshy, Cristo Fernandez, Michaela Jae Rodriguez, Tongayi Chirisa, Colman Domingo, Peter Cullen, John DiMaggio and David Sobolov are part of the voice cast. The film is all set to hit theatres on June 9, 2023.
