John Wick 4 box office collection Day 1: Keanu Reeves’ actioner earns Rs 10 cr on opening day

The Hollywood Reporter projected that the film is expected to deliver between $65-70 million in its opening weekend in the US. Until now, John Wick Chapter 3 holds the record for the top opening weekend in the franchise, $57 million. Now, with a mostly positive response from the audience and film critics, John Wich 4 is expected to set new benchmarks for the action franchise.

Chad Stahelski, who has directed the previous three films, has also helmed the fourth instalment. Besides Reeves, the film also stars Laurence Fishburne as Bowery King, Rina Sawayama as Akira, Ian McShane as Winston, Shamier Anderson as Tracker, Hiroyuki Sanada as Shimazu, the late Lance Reddick as Charon, and Scott Adkins as Killa

The Indian Express’ Alaka Sahni gave the film a 3-star rating and wrote in her review, “The fourth installment of the John Wick saga (JW4) is the longest in the franchise at 2 hours and 49 minutes but also most riveting in terms of cinematic experience.
