The war against censorship in the US is going forward with all engines firing on full capacity, as President Donald Trump's reign finds itself pinned down under matters like free speech, deportation, and his affinity for saying things that doesn't sit well with the masses. Late-night talk shows still seem to be towing the line in this fight and have become the perfect place for celebrities to show their fans where they stand. Veteran actor Jeff Bridges recently took advantage of this opportunity and shared some advice for America. The legendary star made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, which has become a beacon in the fight against the Trump administration. Host Jimmy Kimmel pointed out that the country is going through some terrible times, and maybe they could do with some advice from the 'Dude'. The host was obviously referencing Bridges' iconic character from his 1998 film The Big Lebowski. Jimmy busted out the character's signature jumper and sunglasses and had Guillermo bring out two 'White Russians' for them, which is the cocktail Bridges would drink in the movie. Hey world, I am the dude here. Can we just all calm the f*** down? I mean with all the wars and the fighting. Let's tone it down. We are at a 9, and we need to get down to a 0. Let's get ICE off our streets and into our beverages. This aggression will not stand, right? So let's just abide together; we can do this. That's just my opinion." The actor also talked about his upcoming film Tron: Ares, which also stars Jared Leto, Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Jodie Turner-Smith and Gillian Anderson. He recalled working with Leto and said, "Jared Leto is a wonderful cat. We had a great time. I guess he was method-acting, because I heard someone say, 'Everybody, please call Jared by his character's name,' which is Ares. I thought, 'Well, I am Kevin Flynn; I created this world. So maybe I have a nickname for the guy.' So I asked him, 'Hey, can I call you air?' He replied, 'You can call me anything you want.'"
