Amy Schumer warned boyfriend Ben Hanisch’s mom about media scrutiny

“I told them, ‘Look, journalists are going to call you, because it’s what they do and they’re going to come to the house,’ and they did.

“I told her, ‘Deb, they’re going to call you. Just say ‘no comment.’ She’s like, ‘I got it, Amy. I got it. No comment. Not a problem. Not even 10 minutes later, I get a Google alert that says, Time magazine (reported) that Deb was like, ‘I’ve never heard of her before in my life.’ Too far Deb!,” Schumer recalled.

The comedian gushed over her boyfriend saying they instantly fell in love.

“We met and totally fell in love and it’s been really good,” she said.

“It’s because I think he’s really cute and I think people were like, ‘What? Dating Amy? But he has all his teeth!’ and people were shocked,” she added jokingly.
