Oscar winning actor Sean Penn is set to play a Nazi-hunting rock star in a new movie.

Oscar winning actor Sean Penn is set to play a Nazi-hunting rock star in a new movie.

The ‘Milk’ star is in talks to play the protagonist in Italian director Paolo Sorrentino’s first English-language film ‘This Must Be the Place’,Variety online reported.

Penn is slated to act a wealthy,retired rocker who embarks on a quest to find the German officer who executed his father.

The actor is said to have agreed to take on the role as soon as he completes work on slapstick comedy ‘The Three Stooges’.
