Rishab Shetty gets heartfelt birthday wish from Rakshit Shetty: ‘As you step into this new chapter…’

Rakshit Shetty and Rishab Shetty are known to be close friends and have always cheered for each other. Even after the release of their films Kantara and Charlie 777, Rakshit and Rishab had promoted each other through social media.

The Twitter handle of Hombale Films, who produced Rishab Shetty’s blockbuster film Kantara, also wished the actor-director. The post read, “Happy birthday to the immensely talented and humble @shetty_rishab! Your remarkable skills as an actor and director are truly awe-inspiring. Rishab is now working on the sequel of Kantara. Earlier in March, Hombale Films had announced that the much awaited film is in its scripting stage.

The team had taken to Twitter and written “On this auspicious occasion of Ugadi & New Year, we are delighted to announce that the writing for the second part of #Kantara has begun. We can’t wait to bring you another captivating story that showcases our relationship with nature. Stay tuned for more updates.”

Kantara was written and directed by Rishab Shetty, who also played the lead role in the film. The movie had initially released in just Kannada but seeing the success the film, it was dubbed and released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. It went on to become a pan-India success.
