R. Madhavan,Huma Qureshi host the 60th National Film Awards

Bollywood actors Irrfan Khan and Parineeti Chopra along with a host of other stars received their National Awards on May 3,the day when Indian cinema completed its 100 years.
And playing perfect hosts for the special moment were R Madhavan and Huma Qureshi.
“This is the first time that I have got an opportunity to host an award function as prestigious as the National Awards. Some amazing films and artistes have been recognized this year,” said Madhavan prior to the award show.
The Award ceremony felicitated filmmaker Shoojit Sircar,producer John Abraham for Vicky Donor in the Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment category,Tigmanshu Dhulia for Paan Singh Tomar in the Best Film category and Nawazuddin Siddiqui for his performance in Kahaani,Gangs of Wasseypur II,Dekh Indian Circus and Talaash in the Special Jury Award category.
