Troubled star Lohan accidentally broke her probation by drinking a fermented tea with alcohol.

Troubled star Lindsay Lohan has accidentally broken her probation by drinking a fermented tea containing alcohol.

The ‘Mean Girls’ star has said she drank mugs of kombucha tea,which contains a small amount of alcohol,reported TMZ.

Lohan was barred from any kind of alcohol intake as a condition of her probation stemming from a 2007 DUI (driving under influence) conviction.

The 24-year-old actress is currently on bail after the order was revoked last month following accusations she stole a necklace from a Los Angeles jewellery store.

Now she could face even more legal woes after confessing to officials that she accidentally consumed alcohol by sipping the tea.
