Koffee with Karan Season 5: Ranbir Kapoor is a better kisser than Ranveer Singh

Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh teams up to pull Karan Johar’s legs at Koffee With Karan.

Ranveer Singh can never make a boring entry, whether it is at an event or on Karan Johar’s chat show, Koffee With Karan. As he appeared on Koffee With Karan along with Ranbir Kapoor, he did so holding the shiny shoes of the show’s host in his hands and with a threat on his lips. “If you say anything out of line, I will launch this (the shoe) at you,” he told Karan Johar. The director, in turn, asked him whether he would ever say such a thing to Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The answer was no.

The elephant in the room, Deepika Padukone, is addressed immediately. Ranbir, however, tries to stall the conversation by calling Karan Johar the real elephant. Later, he goes on to say that confession may be good for their soul but not for their careers.

Ranbir Kapoor is the epitome of a poised person who sleeps in his pyjamas while Ranveer Singh reveals he sleeps naked. The two soon gang up against Karan. In fact, Ranbir makes it clear that Deepika Padukone is history and he has nothing but best wishes for her and Ranveer Singh’s future.

While Ranbir establishes himself as single and bored, he also says he doesn’t understand the concept of space in a relationship as anyone who needs space can go to NASA. Ranveer asks him his relationship status. “What is your Facebook status? Even there, this question isn’t compulsory,” he says.

Soon Arjun Kapoor enters the show and he is literally ‘moved’ and ‘touched’. The two actors have to kiss Arjun every time Karan announces a situation they have been in. So here’s what we come to know through this game: Both have made out with actresses on the sets, they have both picked their nose in public, they have slept with women elder than them but neither has made out in the gym. And Ranbir once even slept with a friend’s girlfriend. But as he confessed, he still has a clear conscience because he never uses it.

The verdict of this game: Ranbir is the better kisser as claimed by Arjun Kapoor and that left Ranveer quite disappointed. So much so that he kept on interrupting Karan while the latter was trying to announce a commercial break.

While Ranveer won the rapid fire round for the first time, Ranbir won the quiz round. Amidst the rapid fire round question, Ranveer Singh answered something Shah Rukh Khan had asked in the first episode of the show: Was Ranveer Singh’s underwear padded in Befikre?

“Paris is a cold place and the AC was on. So I had to stuff my underwear. I am just saving them the post production work else they have to do VFX on my red chillies,” he replied. It was that comeback which single-handedly won him the rapid fire round.

There was no buzzer for the quiz, only sexual sounds. In the quiz round, it seemed although Ranbir Kapoor won the game, he wasn’t questioned much about Katrina Kaif. When the two were asked to do her dance steps from Chikni Chameli, Ranveer performed better than her ex-boyfriend.
