Kate Moss is engaged

Kate Moss is leaving behind her hell-raiser days for a more domestic life as she has finally decided to walk down the aisle.

Supermodel Kate Moss is leaving behind her hell-raiser days for a more domestic life as she has finally decided to walk down the aisle.

The 36-year-old British beauty whose love life has brought her mostly heartache and headlines, has got engaged to boyfriend,’Kills’ guitarist Jamie Hince, reported Daily Mail online.

Hince,40,flew out to meet Moss last week while she was working in Mustique. He proposed on Saturday, her 36th birthday, using a diamond ring chosen with the help of Topshop tycoon Philip Green.

The couple have had a fiery romance since meeting in September 2007,just three months after the model finished a turbulent two-year relationship with rocker Pete Doherty.

“Kate was stunned. He said he was flying out to Mustique. He had carefully picked a ring and chose her birthday to propose,” said a source close to the supermodel.

“It was the first time they had been alone together in quite a while and it was extremely emotional. Kate and Jamie are in a very good place, they already live together and this is the next step to settling down for good,” added the source.

Despite a string of rows, friends say that Hince has been a stabilising influence on Moss and he gets along well with Lila Grace, her eight-year-old daughter by ex-boyfriend Jefferson Hack.
