John Abraham replaces Akshay Kumar in Welcome 2?

The reason for Akshay not doing <i>Welcome 2</i> is yet unknown.

Bollywood’s Khiladi Akshay Kumar has been in talks for the third part of Hera Pheri and sequel to Welcome for a while now.

According to reports,Akshay has opted out of both the movies and his Desi Boyz co-actor John Abraham has replaced him in Welcome 2.

Apparently,producer Firoz Nadiadwala waited for four years for Akshay to commence work on the third installment of Hera Pheri,however the actor’s price tag was much too high.

While the reason for Akshay not doing Welcome 2 is yet unknown,sources close to the actor confirm that he will definitely not be in the film.

Welcome 2 is expected to go on floors later this year,and will be helmed once again by Anees Bazmee who had directed the first part in 2007.
