Jade Goody’s death has been exploited, says Parkinson

Michael Parkinson has said that Jade Goody's death was "exploited". and criticised those close to the TV star.

Noted journalist and broadcaster Michael Parkinson has said that Jade Goody’s death was “exploited” and criticised those close to the reality TV star for taking advantage of the tragedy for their own “sordid enjoyment”.

The comment follows his earlier controversial remarks last month that Goody, who died after a much public battle with cervical cancer in March, represented “all that is paltry and wretched about Britain”.

In his latest outburst,in ‘OK!’ magazine,Parkinson said,”The only time we saw the possibility of Jade Goody was in the one area of her life that wasn’t scripted when she got cancer and was dying.”

“Then we saw she had balls and guts. Before that, what happened to the poor kid? She was unable to control her own life by people who right now are pretending to be sad about her death who at one point wrote terrible things about her.

She was exploited, even in death,” Parkinson said.
