College student stabbed to death, two injured

Shamli (UP), Mar 01 (ANI): A student was stabbed to death by unidentified people at a bus stop in Budhana, Uttar Pradesh in a clash allegedly regarding a girl. In this clash, four students were injured out of which two students are critical. Three NCC students were at the stop waiting for the bus to their village when suddenly 10 to 12 boys arrived with knives and attacked the three boys. Police has begun investigations in the case.

Lawyers protest turn violent in Lucknow

Lucknow, Feb 10 (ANI): Following the death of a lawyer in Lucknow, hundreds of lawyers in the capital city of Uttar Pradesh went on a rampage to protest against the alleged murder of an advocate of the Allahabad High Court. The violent mob destroyed dozen of vehicles and set two buses and a building on fire. A lawyer, Shravan Verma, was allegedly murdered in the Naka area of Lucknow. An FIR has been registered by the local police and three arrests have been made in connection with the case.

Shamli (UP), Feb 08 (ANI): Shamli Superintendent of Police Vijay Bhushan on Monday said that three persons have been detained in connection with the death of an eight-year-old boy in a celebratory firing in Shamli. Bhushan said a child aged around eight was hit by a bullet in a celebratory firing. An eight-year-old boy was killed allegedly in a celebratory firing after local elections results were announced in Shamli on Sunday. The Samajwadi Party workers were celebrating the win of candidate Nafisa in the elections when the bullet fired during a rally hit the victim.
