Former Fleetwood Mac member Bob Welch found dead
Welch was found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest.
Former Fleetwood Mac band member Bob Welch has been found dead after apparently committing suicide with a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was 66.
Welch was found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest by his wife,Wendy at their Nashville home,according to a spokesman for the Nashville Police Department.
He had been suffering from health issues,the Los Angeles Times reported.
Welch,who also had a solo career,was a guitarist and vocalist for Fleetwood Mac from 1971 to 1974 and worked on albums such as ‘Future Games’ and ‘Bare Trees’.
The spokesman would not elaborate on specific details regarding Welch’s health but added that there was no evidence of foul play.
