Company denies leaking ‘Wolverine’ video online

Rising Sun Pictures has denied that it was behind the leak of a full-length work print of Hugh Jackman starrer 'X-Men: Wolverine' online.

The visual effects company,Rising Sun Pictures has denied that it was behind the leak of a full-length work print of Hugh Jackman starrer superhero flick ‘X-Men: Wolverine’ online.

The Australia based website, which worked on the film, has released a statement on their website denying any link to the stolen version.

The watermarked caption of the company had appeared in the leaked video, prompting it to issue a statement.

“In response to the recently stolen copy of the 20th Century Fox film ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’ leaked to the Internet,Rising Sun Pictures (RSP) denies that it is in any way related to the unauthorised release of the material,” the statement on their website said.

“As we worked on individual sequences within the film, neither RSP or its staff members have ever been in possession of a full-length version,so it would have been impossible for the movie to have been leaked from here,” said Tony Clark,RSP Chairman and co-founder in a statement posted on Thursday.

The leak is being investigated by the FBI and Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA),a statement from the Fox said on Wednesday.

The film is slated to release in May.
