The reports about Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha being paired in Welcome Back had stunned everyone. However,the films director Anees Bazmee says that nothing has been finalised as yet. We had approached Rekha in the initial stages,when producer Firoz Nadiadwala and I started work on the sequel,but we still have to take that forward. We are also considering other actresses. We have approached Mr Bachchan for the film but we have yet to give him the script. Even if both the actors agree to do the film,they will not be paired opposite each other, stated Bazmee.
The shooting for Welcome Back takes off in the third week of September in Dubai with Anil Kapoor,John Abraham,Shruti Haasan,Nana Patekar and Paresh Rawal.
