A viewer’s account of what happened when Aamir, Salman, Shah Rukh Khan danced together

And if you think there were any moments of awkwardness between them, you are in for the sweetest surprise. Though SRK made quite a dig at Salman while calling him on the stage. “Abb main bulaana chahta hoon desh ke sabse bade superstar ko, jinka court kachheri se khaas waqfaa hai; aksar jaatey rahtey hain wahaan,” were his words. Salman didn’t seem to mind it at all and happily took the centre stage. Not only this, they did a ‘Karan Arjun’ again when Rajat Sharma pointed out that he feels like Arpita standing in between them.

Then, it was the Khan duo’s turn to try their hand at some ‘sawaal’, hence they started their own ‘Khan Ki Adalat’. SRK and Salman were at their wittiest best while bombarding Rajat Sharma with the horde of questions ranging from why he asks the actors all the worst possible questions to his ‘sundar twacha ka raaz’. So while SRK and Salman were all their fun self making fun of themselves too (SRK even went on to say that he does all the controversial acts to feed the show’s gossip meter), Aamir Khan, the ‘padhey likhey’ Khan (as mentioned by Rajat Sharma) was his usual introvert self.

Aamir didn’t speak much while on the stage, but kept giving a smile. Atlast when he did, he congratulated the host for the grand feat. Things didn’t seem to be as easy going and comfortable between SRK and Aamir as much as they did with SRK and Salman or Aamir and Salman. But we’ll keep this for later.

Also, SRK gifted Rajat Sharma a ‘lungi’ for his desired perusal; Aamir, the famous transistor and Salman a towel. So, can a towel dance be far, when a towel is there?

Salman and SRK took it upon themselves to make Rajat and Aamir dance to their tunes. And they did! The photo of the decade – the Khan Trinity strung together with a thread by the noun of a ‘towel’.

So, while there were jibes and banterish remarks, the moment was indeed grand, a dream come true for every cinegoer. A SRK fan, Salman fan or Aamir fan, it’s quite certain that this whole scenario must have left you teary eyed *tears of happiness*.

Having seen this finally, we, like true fans of Indian cinema, now wish for a movie venture with the Khan Trinity in the same frame atleast once. Is anybody listening?
