Yuvika Chaudhary made a mess of her ‘Ek chutki sindoor’ dialogue in Om Shanti Om, but didn’t get scolded by Farah Khan: ‘Sabko daant padti thi’

Farah Khan revealed that actor Yuvika Chaudhary fumbled a lot while shooting the iconic 'Ek chutki sindhoor..' dialogue in her film Om Shanti Om.

Yuvika Chaudhary was a part of Farah Khan’s 2007 film Om Shanti Om, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and Arjun Rampal. The actor played the role of a popular movie star Dolly Arora, essaying Shantipriya (Deepika’s character) in the film’s movie shoot scenes. In her latest vlog of her food recipe series, Farah visited Yuvika and Prince Narula’s house in Mumbai. The trio discussed how nervous the actor was to say the iconic dialogue ‘Ek chutki sindoor ki kimat..’

Farah asked the viewers, “Have you seen Dastaan-E-Om Shanti Om?” After which, Yuvika smiled and added, “Kaun nahi shiver karega? (Who won’t shiver on that set?)”. The filmmaker instantly laughed and shared, “She had to say one dialogue, ‘Ek chutki sindoor ki keemat, tum kya jaano Ramesh babu’. Oh My God! I will have to take out the bloopers.”

Yuvika also revealed further that because she was Farah’s choice, she wasn’t scolded. “Sabko daant padi thi. Because I was her choice, mujhe ek baar kuch nahi kaha ma’am ne. Not even once! Itna pyaar se rakha hai mujhe. Maine sabko daant khaate dekha hai. (She didn’t scold me, I saw everyone getting scolded)”

“I knew she was getting nervouse. Vo itni ghabra gayi thi. Ek chutki ka ek chupki, chuski, and what not, she said it in every combination I feel,” Farah joked, as they burst into laughter. Prince added his romantic tough and continued, “I saw her in the film and thought this girl is so beautiful, never knew she would become my wife.”

Yuvika Chaudhary thanked Farah Khan for giving her the opportunity to play a role in Om Shanti Om. While giving her a warm hug, she said, “It has been so many years, I have never opened up my heart about this. I have always been very shy. I stepped into the Bollywood industry, only because of you. Because of her, I am here, otherwise mera koi vajood nahi hai. Thank you so much, I love you wholeheartedly.”

Meanwhile, Yuvika Chaudhary and Prince Narula were recently in the news for their divorce rumours. However, the former clarified later on that they have seen some fun and some tough days, but don’t feel the need to explain things to people.
