Yash Raj Films to launch newcomer Bhumi Pednekar

‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ will be the maiden production of director Maneesh Sharma. 

Aditya Chopra has always been in favour of encouraging new talent – from providing a launching pad to actors like Ranveer Singh, Parineeti Chopra, Arjun Kapoor and others, a lot of new talent has been backed by Yash Raj Films.

Now joining this league will be Bhumi Pednekar with the film ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’. This film will also be the maiden production venture of director Maneesh Sharma.

Recently, Aditya Chopra announced that some of his popular directors will turn in house producers and one of them was ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ fame Maneesh Sharma. While the details of the female lead were kept under wraps, it was recently decided that Bhumi from the Yash Raj casting production department will be reprising the character.
